Our junior golf program is based on Titleist Performance Institutes’ many years of working with junior athletes across the world. Understanding growth and development windows for junior athletes is a critical component of the program. Each session is specially catered to juniors to help provide your child with a safe, enjoyable and positive experience in developing a life long love of the game.
FUNdamentals – Ages 5-8
This phase is all about developing fundamental movement skills in a fun and engaging program. Each training session is once a week for 90-minutes. Each semester runs for a period of 12 weeks. Designed to get the athletes actively participating in mobility and functional stability fitness activities. Includes golf swing basics of grip, posture, alignment, ball position, stance and weight shift. As well as an introduction to golf safety and etiquette.
Learn to Play – Ages 9 -11
This phase continues with the mastery of movement skills and introduces more sport specific skills (throwing sports, striking sports, target focused sports and wrist release sports) as well as more intermediate golf specific skills. Development of speed, mobility and stability continue. We also start to introduce basic, light functional strength exercise. Each training session is again 90-minutes over the 12 week semester.
